Sonett Wool Care conditioner softens wool garments whose wool grease/lanolin has disappeared (e.g. frequently washed nappy pants). The lanolin protects the wool fibres from premature wear so it's important to restore the lanolin in old dry brittle wool garments. Vintage wool garments and handknits and any wool clothing that has aged or been washed frequently will benefit hugely from a conditioning bath.
Any wool lover will become huge fans of this product. It's especially good for caring for handknits and heirloom woollens. It has the most beautiful lavender scent and is a real pleasure to use leaving your hands feeling soft and moisturised just like your knitwear. It's just like taking your woollen clothing to a day spa.

Instructions on the bottle:
Dosage for babies' woollen nappy pants: Dissolve 1-2 tbsp of Wool Care in hot water then fill with lukewarm water up to 1 litre. Leave the damp garment in this solution for 30-60mins, briefly rinse with clear lukewarm water and leave to dry on a towel.
Replenishing lanolin in woollen clothing: Dissolve 1 teaspoon of lanolin conditioner in 1 litre of lukewarm water. Continue as with the treatment for woollen overpants. Alternatively, the lanolin solution can also be sprayed onto the clothing. Wool Care can also be used in the washing machine. To do so, dissolve ½ teaspoonful of Wool Care in approx. 30–40 ml of hot water and pour the solution into the fabric softener compartment of the washing machine.
Replenishing lanolin in woollen overpants - more info: Wash woollen overpants with sonett or disana wool shampoo. Dissolve 2 tablespoons of lanolin care treatment in 1 litre of lukewarm water. Place the woollen overpants (inside out) in the lanolin solution and squeeze gently. Leave them only briefly in the lanolin solution before removing them. Gently squeeze out excess lanolin solution and press in a towel. Leave to dry in a shady spot. Do not place them in the sun or on the heater. No need to use extra lanolin on new woollen overpants as there is enough natural wax on the fibre. Simply wash them before first use without replenishing the lanolin afterwards.
